Ikara Orphanage Charity Trust supports orphans through education, healthcare, feeding, clothing and sustainable empowerment programs. Walking with orphans from their very first school day through to the completion of their educational journey.

We believe that every registered orphan deserves safety, opportunity, education, healthcare and hope for a brighter future. So we hold ourselves to one measure: every orphan should be treated as though his/her parents were alive.
Learn MoreCurrently, we provide educational support to our registered orphans at Primary, Secondary and Tertiary levels of education; in which the orphans are provided with school fees, registration fees, school uniforms, books and stationery as well as examination fees for WAEC, NECO, JAMB, etc.
We settle medical bills of the orphans when the need arises.
We provide orphans with foodstuff such as grains, vegetables, vegetable oil, sugar, meat, etc.
The Trust provides, on annual basis, clothes to more than half of the orphans under its care.
We train orphans and their mothers in different skills acquisition programmes and other empowerment programmes annually for them to be self-reliant.
